Glitchi lets you mange all your APEX projects more efficient and gives real-time progress indication.
Glitchi was initially developed to manage all APEX Evangelists projects. All the projects we do are listed in Glitchi and at every moment in time our customers and we ourselves have an overview of the status of the project. Glitchi is completely build in Oracle Application Express and integrates nicely with the APEX Development framework.
In the last years we got more and more requests from people asking us to review their working practices and help them to optimise their way of working. When we showed how we did it, by using Glitchi and some best practices, people asked us to productise it, which we did in 2010.
More info and some screenshots
Depending your role the application will show you more or less features you can pick from. (screenshot 1 in Gallery)
When you start a new project you just follow the wizard. The entire project will be setup exactly the same as any other project, keeping best practices and your way of working in mind. (screenshot 2)
At any given time you can view a list of the projects that are currently running or happened in the past. (screenshot 3)
Glitchi has a feedback mechanism build-in with all your applications. The users of your application can log Feedback and it will appear automatically in Glitchi. If you are using Team Development (new in APEX 4.0) you can even let Glitchi integrate with that. The big difference is that Team Development is specific for an APEX workspace, whereas Glitchi acts across all workspaces (and even non-APEX projects if necessary).
The other big difference is that if people will log enhancements, bugs etc in Production you don't have to export them, as the feedback mechanism of Glitchi will enter them straight in the correct environment. (screenshot 4)
The feedback contains specific APEX session state information which makes it easier for the developer to give feedback or to start working on it. Glitchi allows to track all hours that are spend on a specific feedback (issue, enhancement, ...) and on the entire project. (screenshot 5)
Over the next months we will add many more features, but we'll prioritise on what you find most important! So get involved and provide us with feedback.
