APEX 4.0 and above comes standard with AnyChart 5, but Oracle didn't license all the available chart types. AnyChart is constantly improving the engine, but these new versions and other chart types are not available in APEX until Oracle decides to include the newer version of AnyChart.

Our AnyChart Extension Plugin shows you how you can extend APEX with the newer version of AnyChart and other available chart types by using the plugin mechanism in APEX 4.0 and above.

Below you find a table which shows the charts that you get with APEX 4.0 and which ones are not included (or licensed). Most of the chart types are available in 2D and 3D:
