About Us

APEX Evangelists (AE) was formed by John Scott and Dimitri Gielis as a company which specialises in working with the Oracle Application Express development Environment.

From 2003 onwards, John and Dimitri have been working with APEX (aka HTMLDB aka Project Marvel) and were among the first people to begin using it in production applications. They have also shared their knowledge with others through their blogs, by preaching and teaching and by participating in the APEX community and Oracle User Groups.

John and Dimitri have been working with the Oracle database since version 7 for many different clients and on many different projects. John is Oracle ACE, Author of Pro Oracle Application Express and was also named Application Express Developer of the Year 2006 by Oracle Magazine. Dimitri has worked as a consultant for Oracle for over 4 years, he is an Oracle Certified Professional (8i/9i/10g) and is also Vice President of the Application Express Special Interests Group.

The goal of APEX Evangelists is to give the best service possible for our clients. To make that possible we work with the most highly qualified and competent consultants around. AE consultants are extremely knowledgeable in Application Express and each have their own area of expertise which contributes to the success of AE.
